Auto nesting and G-code export
From the model to G-code for 4-head CNC machines with DIM CNC.
DIM CNC has these buttons: Export G-code · Auto nesting · Draw nesting layout · Copy model data.
- Click “Auto nesting”: the plugin reads the model directly, deducts edge banding and puts the face with most operations on top.
- Click “Draw nesting layout” to review it.
- Click “Export G-code”. Check the 2D/3D toolpath simulation before running the machine.
When the plugin says “blocked”
If the data is wrong (misplaced hole, tool too deep, missing tool, conflicting face names) the plugin stops, shows where, and does not export. Fix it in the model and export again.
The post-processor currently supports 4-head CNC machines with 1220 × 2440 boards.
